Telehealth Consent

What telehealth care involves, its limits, and your rights. Reading this page is not the same as giving consent.

Effective October 6, 2026

Care for the treatments offered through PepHealthMD is delivered by telehealth: a licensed provider evaluates you remotely instead of in person. PepHealthMD operates by telehealth only and has no physical clinic. Every consultation takes place remotely — online, or by video where your state requires it. You are asked to confirm that you have read this document at checkout.

What telehealth involves

You give your medical history through the clinical team's secure intake. A licensed provider reviews it and evaluates you — through an online consultation, or a video visit where your state requires one — and decides whether a treatment is appropriate.

There is no automated pathway from checkout to fulfillment: every prescription is a licensed provider's decision.

Benefits, risks and limits

Telehealth can make care more convenient. It also has limits: a provider cannot perform a physical examination, information can be incomplete, and technical problems can delay or interrupt care. A provider may decide that telehealth is not appropriate for you and recommend in-person care.

Independent clinical decisions

Your provider decides independently whether to prescribe, which dose to start with and whether to continue. You may be declined. All treatments require a valid prescription issued through a licensed telehealth evaluation. Not everyone is a candidate; medication is prescribed only when it is medically appropriate.

Your part

You agree to give complete and accurate information about your identity, health and medicines, to follow your provider's instructions, and to tell your provider about side effects or changes in your health.

Privacy

Your health information is handled as described in the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Your right to stop

You may discontinue telehealth services at any time and seek care from an in-person provider of your choice.

Emergencies

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. This website and our contact channels are not for emergencies.

Acknowledgment

By confirming at checkout, you acknowledge that you have read this Telehealth Consent, the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
